A selection 01 !he mosl frequenUy used indicators on !he R&D system and measures 01 the oulput 01 S&T activities is produced twice ayear under the tiUe Main Science and Technology IndicatorsoA biennial publication, Basic Science and Technology Statistics gives luller, more detailed, results country-by-country. These data serve as a basis lor the reports in the OECD Science and Technology Indicators series which provide in-depth analysis ot structures and trends shown by a range 01 S&T indicators, supported by delailed statistical tables and graphs. The ST! Indicators Newsletter is an occasional bulletin conlaining a sel ot briel articles on slatistical topies 01 currenI interest. Output from the DSTl's compulerised slatistical databases is available bolh as prinled publications and in computer-readable lorm such as magnelic lapes and microcompuler diskettes.
